Our team was presented the award at the MEA QLD Awards Night ceremony held on 17 March at the Radisson Resort Gold Coast. On the team’s behalf, Luke George received the accolade for 2009, giving his heartfelt thanks to the loyalty and dedication of the Avcom Staging team, citing the ownership and accountability in our work and passion we bring to each job.

 

This awards category was specific to the provision of staging, production, technical and creative design for meetings and special events. The judging process of the awards investigated areas of Avcom Staging, such as the company’s history of

involvement in the meetings industry, organisational structure, marketing and business planning, resource management, financial performance, diversity of projects and clients, challenges and responses, creation of opportunities, and

contributions to growth and professionalism in the industry.  

 

The proceedings of the night accorded the perfect opportunity to reflect on how proud we are to be part of such an exciting and challenging industry, with truly creative and admirable peers.
